The Satre is a pocket-sized, lightweight and extremely resistant fixed knife. Its characteristics allow it to be used in a wide range of activities and fields, including survival and bushcraft, or it can be part of an EDC (Every Day Carry) kit. It was designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto. It can be worn as a neckknive, thanks to its Paracord 550 strap. This way it can be worn vertically with the handle facing down. The pre-formed Kydex sheath has eyelets that allow both the strap and the accessory holder to be attached. The ULTICLIP carrying solution will be available from January 2022. This allows the sheath to be clipped not only to belts, but also to bags, trousers, jackets, shirts and t-shirts. ULTICLIP offers the possibility of positioning the knife both vertically and horizontally, allowing a more accessible use for left- and right-handed people. All three versions of the Satre come with the black sheath. A desert sheath can be purchased separately. The full-length skeletonized structure allows the knife to be customized by using the paracord as a handle cover. Satre is available in three versions with two different types of steel: the black and stone washed versions are made of heat-treated Böhler N690 steel with a hardness of 58 HRC. This material was chosen for its resistance to oxidation, the durability of its cutting edge and especially its reliability, which has proven itself over the years. The black S600 version, on the other hand, is made of Böhler S600 steel. This steel is used to make metalwork and stamp making tools. It has excellent properties in terms of hardness, wear resistance and toughness thanks to the presence of molybdenum, tungsten and a significant addition of vanadium in its chemical composition. The presence of cobalt promotes the growth of evenly distributed small carbides that increase wear resistance. The Satre S600 is thermally and cryogenically treated to achieve an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC. This also makes it very wear-resistant and gives the cutting edge a permanent sharpness. The Böhler S600 contains 4.5% chromium, which makes it oxidizable. For this reason, Extrema Ratio has chosen the new EXP DARK surface. Due to its extreme hardness and resistance to wear and abrasion, this steel is not easy to sharpen. We recommend using our Double Grain Sharpener to keep the cutting edge of your Satre extremely sharp at all times."
